After a decade, avid fans of the sci-fi “Star Wars” franchise are finally getting a continuation to their favorite story. However, many of them noticed that there is one piece missing from all the posters, teasers, trailers, and credits of the new “Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.”
The missing piece is Mark Hamill, a.k.a. Luke Skywalker.
Hamill played the ‘original’ protagonist in episodes IV, V, and VI, but nobody actually knows how big his part is in the upcoming sequel.
Nobody except J.J. Abrams, that is. The director was recently asked about the whole mystery by E! News, when he said: “It’s no accident that you asked that question, but I can’t wait for you to find out the answer.”
Lo and behold, the answer escaped us again. Nonetheless, The Hollywood Reporter claims the presales for this Disney/Lucasfilm project have officially broken the IMAX record with over $6.5 million in domestic ticket sales.
Skywalker or not, this is going to be one hell of a sci-fi adventure when it premieres on December 18.
